By accessing or using MileEZ, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, as well as our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not use our service.

These terms apply to all users of the application, including both free and premium subscribers. Your continued use of MileEZ constitutes acceptance of any changes or updates to these terms.

MileEZ is a mileage tracking and vehicle management application designed to help users:

• Automatically track and record vehicle trips using location services

• Monitor mileage for personal, business, or lease management purposes

• View historical trip data and routes on interactive maps

• Receive smart projections about future mileage usage

• Set reminders for important vehicle-related dates and thresholds

• Export mileage logs and reports for tax or reimbursement purposes

We strive to provide accurate and reliable service, but we continuously improve and update the app, which may result in changes to features and functionality.

To use MileEZ's full features, you must create an account:

• Account Creation: You must provide a valid email address and create a secure password. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.

• Account Security: You are solely responsible for all activities that occur under your account. Notify us immediately at hello@mileez.com if you suspect any unauthorized access or security breach.

• Accurate Information: While vehicle registration numbers are not required, you should ensure that any information you provide is accurate for your own tracking purposes.

• Age Requirement: You must be at least 16 years old to use MileEZ. By creating an account, you confirm that you meet this age requirement.

• One Account Per User: You may only create and maintain one account per user. Multiple accounts for the same individual are not permitted.

You agree to use MileEZ in a lawful and responsible manner:

• Legal Compliance: You must comply with all applicable local, state, national, and international laws and regulations while using our service.

• Safe Usage: Never interact with the app while actively driving. Pull over safely before manually starting, stopping, or reviewing trips.

• Accurate Purpose: Use MileEZ for its intended purpose of tracking mileage and managing vehicle information. Do not attempt to manipulate or falsify trip data.

• Personal Use: Your account is for your personal use only. Do not share your login credentials or allow others to use your account.

• Respectful Conduct: Do not use MileEZ to harass, abuse, or harm others, or to transmit any harmful or malicious content.

While we strive for accuracy, please understand:

• Location Accuracy: Mileage tracking depends on your device's location services, which can be affected by GPS signal quality, weather conditions, tall buildings, tunnels, and other environmental factors.

• No Guarantee: We do not guarantee 100% accuracy of tracked mileage or trip data. Factors beyond our control may affect data quality.

• User Verification: You are responsible for reviewing and verifying the accuracy of your tracked trips, especially if using the data for tax, reimbursement, or legal purposes.

• Manual Corrections: You may edit or delete trips that are inaccurate. We recommend regularly reviewing your trip history.

• Not Legal Advice: MileEZ does not provide legal, tax, or financial advice. Consult appropriate professionals for guidance on how to use your mileage data for tax or business purposes.

You must not engage in any of the following activities:

• Reverse Engineering: Do not attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise attempt to discover the source code of the app.

• Circumvention: Do not bypass, disable, or interfere with security features or features that prevent or restrict use or copying of content.

• Automated Access: Do not use robots, scripts, or automated means to access the service without our express written permission.

• Data Mining: Do not extract, scrape, or harvest data from the service for unauthorized purposes.

• System Interference: Do not introduce viruses, malware, or any harmful code that may damage or disrupt our service or other users' experiences.

• Fraudulent Use: Do not use MileEZ for any fraudulent, deceptive, or illegal purposes, including falsifying trip data for unlawful gain.

All intellectual property rights in MileEZ belong to us:

• Ownership: MileEZ, including its design, features, code, graphics, logos, and content, is protected by intellectual property laws.

• Limited License: We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use MileEZ for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these terms.

• Your Data: You retain ownership of the data you input into MileEZ (trip data, vehicle information, etc.). By using our service, you grant us a license to store, process, and display this data to provide our services to you.

• Assets: 'MileEZ' logos may not be used without our prior written permission.

• Feedback: If you provide feedback or suggestions about MileEZ, we may use them without any obligation to compensate you.

IMPORTANT - PLEASE READ CAREFULLY:

• 'AS IS' Service: MileEZ is provided 'as is' and 'as available' without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

• No Guarantee of Availability: We do not guarantee that MileEZ will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free. We may suspend or discontinue the service at any time without notice.

• Accuracy: We do not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any data, content, or information provided through MileEZ.

• Third-Party Services: MileEZ may rely on third-party services (Apple, Google, mapping providers). We are not responsible for any failures or issues arising from these third-party services.

• Device Compatibility: We do not guarantee that MileEZ will be compatible with all devices or operating system versions.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

• No Liability for Damages: We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from:

- Your use or inability to use MileEZ - Any unauthorized access to or use of your data - Any errors, omissions, or inaccuracies in trip data or mileage calculations - Any decision you make based on data from MileEZ (including tax, legal, or financial decisions)

• Maximum Liability: Our total liability to you for all claims arising from or related to MileEZ shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $100, whichever is greater.

• Safety Disclaimer: We are not liable for any accidents, injuries, or damages that occur as a result of using MileEZ while driving. Always prioritize safe driving practices.

• Tax and Legal Consequences: We are not responsible for any tax penalties, legal issues, or financial losses arising from your use of mileage data generated by MileEZ.

Either party may terminate this agreement:

• Your Right to Terminate: You may terminate your account at any time by deleting it within the app or by contacting us at hello@mileez.com. Upon deletion, all your data will be permanently removed from our servers.

• Our Right to Terminate: We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these terms or engaged in prohibited activities.

• Effect of Termination: Upon termination, your right to use MileEZ immediately ceases. Any provisions of these terms that by their nature should survive termination (including disclaimers, limitations of liability, and intellectual property provisions) shall continue to apply.

• No Refunds: If you have paid for premium features and we terminate your account for cause, you will not be entitled to a refund. If you voluntarily delete your account, refunds may be provided at our discretion based on our refund policy.

We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time:

• Notification: We will notify you of significant changes by updating the 'Last Updated' date at the top of this document and, where appropriate, by sending you an email notification or in-app alert.

• Your Acceptance: Your continued use of MileEZ after changes to these terms constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.

• Review Regularly: We encourage you to review these terms periodically to stay informed about your rights and obligations.

• Substantial Changes: If we make substantial changes that materially affect your rights, we will provide prominent notice and may require you to affirmatively accept the new terms before continuing to use MileEZ.

These terms are governed by applicable laws:

• Governing Law: These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which MileEZ operates, without regard to conflict of law provisions.

• Dispute Resolution: Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of MileEZ should first be addressed by contacting us at hello@mileez.com. We will work in good faith to resolve any issues.

• Jurisdiction: You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in our operating jurisdiction for the resolution of any disputes.
